Our 2016 Race Calendar is now updated!

Our vision is to promote a healthy lifestyle through swimming, cycling, running, and other cross training activities. Canyon Lake, California is the perfect venue for all of the above.

Our mission is to help our club members achieve their goals through free monthly races and frequent, structured group practices.

We are the only triathlon club in the Inland Empire to offer monthly races with open water swimming on our private lake.

In addition to monthly races and group practices, the club sponsors three annual events through its Fitness Committee.

On March 20th, 2016 we had we had about 20 riders join us for our annual Tour De Canyon Lake bike ride.  We also collected $70+ in donations as well as pet food and supplies for Animal Friends of the Valley pet shelter.  Thank you to everyone who participated and donated and thank you to Karin Cassidy for organizing the event!

Results for the Canyonman 2015 are now available.  Thank you to Karen Feld, Jim Yanoschik, Kathy and Eric Zapata and many others for organizing the race with awesome water stations and race food and keeping us safe on the swim with paddle board support.

We had 16 participants for the June 28th mountain bike triathlon organized by Eric and Kathy Zapata.  Most participants chose the road bike course for this event instead of the mountain bike course.  The swim race was exciting with the Dowell brothers taking first out of the water honors and giving the adults a run for their money.  On the road bike course Darrell Rowe a CL Tri Club multi race winner came in a couple minutes ahead of last year’s event winner, Andy Thacher of San Diego.  Dennis Durling took second with Andy coming in third.  Back on the mountain bike course it was a photo finish with the Dowell brothers once again.  Ryan beat brother Mason by about a foot.  Fortunately our new Mylaps system can record racers time to 100th of a second.  This was a fantastic family event, thank you to Eric and Kathy for organizing it and for the wonderful post race treats.  See the results here Mountain Bike Triathlon June 28 2015

The May 17th Sprint Triathlon was our largest weekend triathlon attendance in club history with  29 athletes participating! This was also our first Sunday Triathlon ever.  It was our second opportunity to use our new Mylaps chip timing system and we were able to post results by Sunday evening.  This was a fantastic event and the weather was perfect.  Thank you to all our volunteers.

5-17-15 SPRINT

The reverse super sprint on 4/25/15, was a total success.  Elizabeth McKay did a great job of organizing and we had 18 members participate in the event and lots of volunteers.
